Introductory Mat
This is the point of entry for all newcomers to this exercise system.
The session begins with a brief history of the method pioneered by Joseph Pilates, progressing to the contemporary, anatomical approach of STOTT. You will be taught the 5 basic principles of alignment, which is the cornerstone of STOTT PILATES. By the end of this introductory session, you will have learned the warm-up and a solid curriculum of essential exercises that build initial strength to the core and stretch.
Essential 1
This level is designed for those who have just completed the Introductory level or individuals who have joined our studio with prior STOTT PILATES experience from Mat/Reformer classes elsewhere in the city. Participants should be knowledgeable with the basic essential exercises and are ready to add to their repertoire.
Essential 2
Participants in this class have learned the entire essential curriculum and perform the exercises at a quick pace, challenging the core stability, while adding stamina. In order to move to an Intermediate level, participants in this class must have mastered the 5 basic principles in a controlled manner throughout their workout with few physical limitations.
Intermediate and Advanced
A great workout for anyone that has achieved deep core strength with mind-body awareness. Here we challenge the neuromuscular by adding more coordination and exercises that require balance. A greater emphasis is placed on the periphery adding to the muscular challenge.
Classes duration:1hr. Please inquire about the fees. Cash, cheques, Visa or Mastercard accepted. Classes must be complete within the same session.

- Each class is 1 hour in length
- Registration is on a first-come, first serve basis until the maximum of 10 is reached.
- All registration is pre-paid, cash, cheque, VISA or MC. Full pre-payment confirms your spot.
- You can drop off the payment at the studio (drop box provided inside the studio by the front desk) or mail it to 390 Academy Rd, R3N 0P8
- All fees are non-fundable but are transferable to other Pilates services
- Make-up mat classes must be done within the session

- SPRING SESSION starts Mon April 20 for 10 weeks $135 until Sat June 27. Mon and Sat classes are 9 weeks at $120.No class Sat May 16 or Mon May 18
- SUMMER SESSION starts Mon June 29 for 10 weeks $135 until Sat Sept 5. Mon and Wed classes are 9 weeks with no class Wed July 1 or Mon Aug 3. Sat classes are 8 weeks at $110 with no classes Aug 1 and Sept 5.
- FALL SESSION starts Tues Sept 8 to Sat Nov 14 for 10 weeks $135. Mondays and Wed classes are 9 weeks $120 with no class Oct 12 or Nov 11.
- WINTER SESSION starts Mon Nov 16 to Jan 23, 2010 for 10 weeks

REFORMER
EQUIPMENT-BASED SESSIONS – How to get started
To evaluate your needs, begin creating an awareness of the deep torso muscles and establish a foundation in the technique, it is necessary to schedule 3 private sessions with an instructor. You get a postural assessment and we show you how to set up and operate your machine while familiarizing yourself with the essential Reformer exercises to prepare you for the equipment class setting.

3) Intake Package (3 privates 10% off) $170 or $188 4) Drop-in group: $20
5) Instructor-led groups $175.00 for 10 classes
Sessions are one hour in length. Please arrive a few minutes early. Wear comfortable clothing and no shoes. Cash, cheque, VISA & MC accepted. We observe a 24 hr cancellation policy. All fees for lessons and appointments are non-refundable but transferable.
THE INSTRUCTORS
STOTT PILATES instructors are highly qualified professionals. All are trained in the STOTT PILATES method. Many have danced professionally or hold degrees in dance, kinesiology, physical education or physiotherapy. Each instructor brings his or her own rich experience to your session. To benefit from different teaching styles, we recommend working with more than one instructor.
